How do we do it? Our wonderful teams make it all possible, coming to work every day to share joy, quintessential nostalgia, and deliciousness in the form of our delectable made-from-scratch ice cream.
Ice cream brings us together from all walks of life. Working at The Penny means serving up excited kiddos a scoop of vanilla ice cream with sprinkles (and stars, how cool!), to watching babies take their first life-changing bite of dark chocolate sorbet, to chatting with our favorite Penny regulars who’ve shared our passion for years.
Working at The Penny also means being a part of something bigger and meaningful. Everyday we strive to create memorable experiences, to touch people’s lives, and to brighten the world just a little bit more (with toasted marshmallow on top, of course!).
Our teams play a vital part in our communities throughout the greater Santa Cruz area, serving up delicious creations made with ingredients sourced from local farms, foragers, food artisans– sometimes even from our own backyards! We believe that knowing where your food comes from is just as important as how it tastes, and we take pride in sharing that knowledge with our friends, families, and neighbors.
